CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY

Cranial Osteopathy is a subtle form of osteopathy where gentle non-invasive touch is applied to the head, spine and whole body to harmonise any tension. I have used gentle cranial techniques for treatment of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction/imbalance/pain, headaches and migraines, relaxing the nervous system of the whole body in adults, children and babies, people with trauma from injuries to the head and body encouraging the body’s natural healing process. Cranial treatments can be deeply relaxing and some people come for a maintenance treatment session to find deep relaxation in their body after a period of stress or to help with general well-being.

OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a person-centred approach to health care and as Allied Health Professionals we can diagnose and manage musculoskeletal issues with consideration of the other systems of the body. I enjoy working out why someone may be in pain and how I can help to make them better using my osteopathic skills and encourage rehabilitation using functional yoga.

Osteopathy is a primary care practice diagnosing, treating, preventing and rehabilitating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. We/I aim to provide a whole-person approach to your health using hands-on treatment, suitable exercises to help rehabilitation and advice to help prevent and manage your condition if necessary.

YOGA

Embodying the yoga practices

My classes provide a nurturing relaxed environment for students to connect with their bodies through breathing practices, fluid movement, mantra, mudras and deep relaxation with yoga nidra. I believe that connecting with the sensations within our body helps us connect with everything outside of our bodies. My class is full but I am open to teaching another class or workshop if anyone is interested.

Please call or text 07790976089.

I have an ongoing interest in the benefits of menstrual cycle awareness for women of all ages and have a particular interest in the benefits of osteopathic care to help with the sometimes dramatic physical and emotional changes that can occur during menstrual cycles. I have been honoured to treat people of all ages from the start of menstruation, during pregnancy, pre and post-natal as well as perimenopause and menopause. I continue to learn from the individuals who visit my practice and attend my yoga classes.

“Creating an overall healthy lifestyle for yourself doesn’t require a radical diet or significant life change. In fact, it can be attained through common sense decisions about the way we eat, move, and live.”
